Steel Grating

Steel Gratings are the products metal with the spaced wisted square bars pressed into the bearing bars-producing strong welds and rectangular opening. Bearing bars carry loads. Cross bars fix bearing bars. Cross bars fix bearing bars. The direction of bearing bars represents the direction of steel grating length. The direction of cross bars represents the direction of steel grating width.

Steel gratings can be classified into two styles by type of its bearing bars, namely, plain style and serrated style, according to the upper edges of bearing bars, form more than 200 varieties on the basis of the sizes and pitches of bearing bars and the pitches of cross bars, and surface-protective treatment can be made in light of different environments.

Grating Surface treatment: Hot-dip galvanizing, cold galvanizing, painting, dipped anti-rust oil, dipped plastic, not dealing with it

Our Steel grating divided in three different types of steel grating, each with different specifications and suitability.

Series 1: 30mm centres

Suitable for heavy loading

Available in mild steel (forge welded or twistlock) and aluminium (twislock)

Series 2: 40mm centres

Series 2 grating is available in both forge bar and twistlock. The lightweight, economical design of the Series 2 grating makes it perfect for walkways, fixed platforms, stairways and ladders. Available in twistlock (mild steel and aluminium)

Series 3: 60mm centres

Series 3 grating is mainly used in the mining industry as it minimises the build-up of spillages on the flooring. The openings let small matter fall through while larger matter is caught on the grating. Series 3 is a very lightweight design and is not recommended for high-impact loads.
